Green Hills
Green Hills is one of Nashville’s more affluent areas and its name alone can attest for what you will find within. The famous Blue Bird Cafe is just a stone’s throw away from Nashville’s more high end shopping
area, The Green Hills Mall. Here you will also find an easy commute to downtown, area universities, grocery stores, churches, schools, and more. Green Hills is a very automobile necessary area, but with many close by ammenities, including theater, grocery store, and a variety of bars and restaurants, the short car ride is worth it.

Oak Hill
Just south of downtown is Nashville’s hidden Oasis, The City of Oak Hill. With Civil War monuments, lush trees, and one of
Tennessee’s largest state natural areas, Radnor Lake, Oak Hill is a Nashville gem.
Incorporated in 1952 before the formation of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County,
Oak Hill exists as a satellite city within the Metropolitan family. Uniquely, it is completely residential with no commercial establishments.
The City contracts and provides such services as street maintenance and paving, monthly chipper service,
twice-weekly backdoor trash and recycling pickup, right-of-way maintenance and other services at no cost to the residents of Oak Hill.
It is home to the Tennessee Governor’s Residence, 15 churches, and a number of schools.
LOCATION:
The City of Oak Hill is generally bound by Old Hickory Boulevard on the south, Woodmont Boulevard on the north,
and I-65 on the east. The western border follows the Green Hills neighborhood and City of Forest Hills.
Oak Hills Mission Statement:
The mission of the City of Oak Hill is to preserve its natural resources and residential environment;
to offer an enhanced level of services to its citizens; and to provide a strong sense of community pride
with historical awareness all within close proximity to a world-class metropolitan area.
